Although access to this guide is restricted to registered members of the Fine Dining Network, there is no affiliation with YPO in any way. The guide was developed by, and is maintained by members of the Fine Dining Network leadership, in the spirit of servant leadership, providing a benefit for our fellow fine dining enthusiasts. There is no financial gain for anyone, and neither is there any external financial support.
Restaurants listed on this platform are gathered from the Fine Dining Network's WhatsApp chat and YPO Connect feed, as well as in-app additions from registered users of this platform.
Moderation is limited to verifying whether the database entry for a user-added venue has been correctly captured and appropriately categorised. Beyond that, all user-additions are taken as valid recommendations, submitted in good faith. They will not be removed unless they are deemed outside of the scope of this platform (for example: a submission which is not a dining establishment) or its removal was requested by the user who submitted it. Users who disagree with the inclusion of a particular establishment can make their opinion known in the comment section.
In order to keep access exclusive and allow users to personalise their content, each user will be assigned a unique login profile. The data captured in order to create this profile is the user's name, their chapter, and their email address. A temporary password is assigned to each user, and they will receive an email with a link to create their own password. User data such as their login profile, comments submitted, saved places, bucket list items and visited lists are stored in a cloud-hosted database with encryption at rest and in transit, accessible only to authenticated members.
